Chuck Liddell is a bad, bad man. Standing 6’2” and weighing over 200 pounds, Liddell could easily be confused for an NFL safety. But Liddell probably wouldn’t have any interest in playing football: it isn’t physical enough. For those who don’t already know, Chuck Liddell is a retired mixed martial artist and former UFC light heavyweight champion. Widely credited for bringing MMA into the mainstream, Liddell now serves as the Vice President of Business Development for the UFC.
While Liddell might not have been a professional football player, he certainly is a football fan. His favorite team? The Green Bay Packers, of course. Sporting a green mohawk and a Bart Starr throwback, Liddell was a visible figure at last year’s Super Bowl.
In a field-level box during the game, Liddell made his way out onto the field to celebrate the Packers’ victory with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Congratulations, Chuck; you’re this week’s Big Cheese! This year’s Super Bowl is in Indianapolis. If the Packers make it back to the big game can we expect to see a green and gold striped mohawk?
